This is Tacheles. The history is pretty interesting. Currently it's a squat full of artists in the middle of some of the most expensive real estate in Berlin (though there have been talks of eviction for a while now). I think it's kind of romantic...

Yeah, I remember seeing that animation a couple years back. The scale of it all is pretty impressive.
